Projects and Fee Schedules
Linda
Patterson holds a BS in education and recently retired from
teaching. For the past 12 years while teaching, she also worked
at her home business of designing and creating custom liturgical
vestments. Currently she is working on a concelebrant set of green
vestments for the Office of Worship, Diocese of St. Petersburg,
FL.
In making
chasubles, 100% wool, wool blend, and silks are used. Wools are
lightweight and allow for the natural flow. Natural fibers breathe
and do not retain body heat. Silks add richness to the garment
through their textures and their ability to emit various shades
in the movement of the garment. Chasubles are made to client's
specifications. Altar scarves, ambo drops and hangings can be
made to match. Pricing depends on size.
Albs are custom
made using fabric with a blend of natural fibers and polyester,
or 100% polyester, if preferred. Weight of the fabric ranges
from light to medium. Swiss embroidered lace can be set in the
cuff and hem. The lace adds a touch of elegance while remaining
simplistic. Crosses or decorative stitching can be embroidered
on the fabric between two rows of lace. Altar linens can be ordered
to measure, using 100% linen or a cotton blend. Pricing depends
on size and laces used.
Prices range
from $300.00 to $1,000.00 for chasubles & dalmatics, and $150.00
to $295.00 for albs. Photos and fabric swatches can be sent and
a price determined after the design, fabric and trim is decided
upon. |
