Lynn
Kircher is at home in the classroom, where he was an art teacher
for over 20 years, or in the studio with clay under his fingernails.
Lynn knows how to portray human expression. His figures are deeply
evocative and rendered in a strong style. Hours are spent in research.
He looks for the moment that reveals a story. In libraries, on the
web, in buildings and museums he searches to find a level of meaning
he can put into form. He dedicates time to discuss with church members
how to bring to his representation of sacred images the presence
and vision they are hoping for. Lynn's images are a legacy for your
community, to move and inspire, to recreate the story you want to
tell
Most of his work consists of limited edition bronzes. Over the years
he has developed a body of work that has established his reputation
as a serious artist and a leader in his field. In the tradition
of limited editions, once the issue is exhausted, the molds are
retired. Lynn works with a small staff, in a well-equipped studio
in a rural area. Most of the work is produced in-house, except for
the investment mold and the bronze pour. Facilities are available
for church committees to visit and become acquainted with the artistic
and production processes.
Lynn's work is found in private and public collections nationally,
and is to be presented to John Paul II for the Vatican collection
this spring. Prices vary depending upon size, complexity, and time
frame for delivery. Please contact Lynn or Jane Kircher with questions
you might have, or to explore ways they might help you place original
artwork in your place of worship.
